    LVW Electronics seeks a project manager to provide project management support for our Air Force Programs.  Applicant should possess advanced and experienced project management skill sets and be familiar with access control, audio/visual (A/V), telecommunications, intrusion detection, and CCTV equipment and systems.  Familiarity with Federal Business Opportunities within the Department of Defense.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage project scope, goals, milestones and deliverables that support LVW’s business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
    • Work internally with other assigned staff to plan and schedule project timelines and milestones.
    • Act as the assigned finance manager for projects including managing project budget and performing bi-weekly and monthly finance activities to include: actual project evaluation, project forecasts and reporting to include financial variance.
    • Determine and assess need for additional resources during the project life cycle.  Set and continually manage project expectations with internal team members and external stakeholders.
    • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
    • Track project milestones and deliverables. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations.
    • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and devise contingency plans.
    • Disseminate project success milestones to involved parties throughout the project life cycle.
    • Build, develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
    • Develop requested post project lessons learned and create a report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years’ experience supporting engineering/technical services contracts to DoD customers
    • 3 years’ experience in assistant superintendent or project management position that included customer interfaces, routine reporting, and product development and review
    • Experience managing Technology Infrastructure/Installation/Integration projects
    • Undergraduate degree (BA/BS), BS in engineering or business management preferred. May substitute 5 -7 years of relevant experience in lieu of undergraduate degree.
    • PMP Certification considered a major plus.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and productivity tools (e.g. Outlook, Word, Project & PowerPoint)
    • Able to work independently, set and meet assigned goals and project deadlines, and manage customer relationships
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to obtain/and maintain a government security clearance.
    • Ability to gain access to military and government buildings and installations.
