Position Summary:  The objective of the ICIDS IV ESS Technician is to provide management, administration, maintenance, repairs, and training at various military locations.  Provide on-site technical support during normal business hours and after business hours for ICIDS-IV management, administration, scheduled preventive maintenance, repairs, and operator level training supporting the various locations that consists of alarmed Arms Rooms, Sensitive Classified Information Facilities (SCIF), and Mission Essential Vulnerable Areas (MEVA).

Responsibilities

  • Processing subcontractor proposals, and requests for quotes
  • Review subcontractor proposals and associated documents for accuracy and proper pricing
  • Self-Starter, Highly Motivated, Organized, Professional.
  • Ability to perform multi-task operations while maintaining exceptional performance.
  • Excellent Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to interact with all levels of the organizational staff, government officials, and outside vendors.
  • High level abilities/understanding/implantations of Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat, etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace collaborative environment with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and conditions.
  • Ability to work on and Maintain ICIDS-IV equipment, accounts, components, sensors, connections, control units, wiring and conduit installation.
  • Ability to perform on preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance tasks on all work stations, communication arrays, system servers, remote terminal units, hardware, software and peripheral devices. This includes software, firmware version upgrades, updates and hot fixes.
  • Ability to complete Service Requests, PM test logs and other documents as necessary.
  • Ability to provide Government personnel administration, maintenance, repair and training.
  • Submit Equipment Status Reports
  • Ability to enter work orders into the ICIDS-IV database, run reports and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Ability to work on call, weekends and Federal holidays to respond to emergency service requests.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a certification issued or recognized by DAQ Electronics LLC to maintain and repair ICIDS IV System and related components.  Must possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience on maintaining and repairing ICIDS-IV equipment, programming and other various skills as required, minimum high school diploma.
  • Experience with and utilization of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain at a minimum a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain at a minimum a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with inquiries (NACI).
